Anyone else love betting on Arena Football? Easiest sport to beat IMO.

I had lines in week 1 that were around 6 points better than the closing line on average. I got Pitt +6, game went off Pitt -7, and they somehow didn't cover despite leading by double digits in the 4th. I'm going to bitch about that one for a while.

Anyway, I convinced the good folks at SportsOptions to let me send out injury notes on quarterbacks this year so if you want even more of an edge you can sign up for an account and I can hook you up with some deals. No one else really covers injuries well in this sport but I'm keeping a personal database since I watch all the games so I figured I'd pass on the info to our customers.

If you'd like to try out an account for free email me at writerjake@hotmail.com and I can also hook you up with some cash off your first couple months if you decide to stick with us.

Just some random stuff heading into week 2 that no one else seems to be covering so you know I'm not full of it.

SJ Sabercats Russ Michna left week 1 with a possible concussion and never returned. It sounds like he'll be okay for week 2 after passing his concussion tests and the move to rest him in the 2nd half seems to be precautionary as the team had a nice lead.

New Orleans VooDoo QB Kurt Rocco suffered a shoulder injury in week 1 and didn't return. Sounds bad. Nothing official but the team is trying to sign QBs. Rocco was injury prone last season too so I'm guessing he misses some games. VooDoo backup Ryan Perriloux broke his thumb in that game too so who knows how long he's out. He played with the injury in week 1 so might be able to tough it out. We'll see.

Anyway if you are a fan of Arena Football email me and if you are interested in SportsOptions you should email me too for the deals I can offer working there. Even if you just want to BS about Arena ball that's fine too. Would be nice to hear some other opinions.

San Antonio -2.5 and Los Angeles +3 look good for today. No lean on totals.
